In order to express ourselves, we must have a self to express. Turning to the written page and paying attention to when we feel resistant to do so helps us clarify our real feelings vs. “official” feelings. At this point we’re able to decipher our deepest desires, inclinations, and mindsets. How can a troubling perception turn into a call to action? What bores you? What relationships do you feel stifled in?
