Temple + Table’s Manifesto
To have the mind of Christ is the work of every believer and the desire of God. But to do this requires a habit of abiding in Him. Not with the intention to receive, but with a heart to give. It’s true that God loves us, but what a life altering experience it is when we can honestly say we love Him back! In this sense love is made complete and the adventure of a surrendered life begins. An empowered life is a surrendered life and God wants this for us.
“For God so loved the world…”
The mantra for everything, try it out!
A passion for Ephesians 1. From the foundation of the world we were chosen, known, and our callings established. For this reason, God’s opinion on the details of our lives matters…like a lot. Knowing that we have the ability to choose life or death and knowing that life is in Christ, seeking His will with all one’s heart is paramount. If there’s the slightest possibility of missing destiny (‘Lord knows I’ve come dangerously close to this’), I don’t want you or I to be counted among those that did. If it’s that important to God, it should be important to us. Oh, what the world would look like if God’s beloved used their gifts and fulfilled their destiny!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Enough said.
